                     TIMES HAD CHANGED and for rudy’s perspective, not for the better. every time he stepped onto the street, something new and disheartening found him; some of the more interesting, modern cars he saw driving past helped change that. ignoring the expression of shock, rudolph’s eyes fell downcast at the taunting remark… briefly. he could hold his own, even if it  was in an unfamiliar world.

     A pair of well-groomed eyebrows raised onto rest against a smooth forehead.
Whatever amusement he had previously found had quickly been washed away the
second that the other male opened his mouth. Admittedly, he was impressed with
the attempt at the snarky retort, but Donovan wasn’t going to hold back for a second.
